- Solid Bars are designed to retain a spindle that is fixed to a specific position on the bar
- The spindle retainers are commonly welded to the bar of the clamp at a customer specified position
- Generally, the solid bar models have greater holding capacity than the equivalent U-bar model.Stainless steel has a higher heat tolerance and a higher resistance to corrosion than carbon steel, allowing use at higher temperatures
- Can be used where a non-magnetic clamp is required.Vertical handles are designed with a handle that is 90 degrees, or perpendicular to the clamping bar
- They are manufactured with holding capacities of up to 6,000 pounds.
