There are a few of ways to become a Motion customer.
- Locate your local branch on the locations page and call them to get set up.
- For a credit card account, go to Motion and click "Register Now" on the homepage. Decide whether you will be opening a Business Account or a Personal Account, then click "Register Now". Follow the prompts to open your account.
- To become a terms customer, contact your local branch to get set up.
The Plant Floor feature enables you to upload a bird’s-eye view of your plant, warehouse, or location. Learn to mark your Plant Floor with location pins, see existing Plant Floor layouts, navigate to all Product Lists, and more with this tool. Motion.com offers a Saved List feature that allows you to easily create and organize commonly used items. The lists can be used as a Bill of Materials list, a commonly used shopping list, or simply a list of hard-to-find items. For complete instructions on how to use Saved Lists, click learn more below.

To find your closest location, go to the location page on Motion.com. From there you can search locations by City, State, or postal code and find the location closest to you.
There are a few ways to find your account number.
- Your account number will be displayed in the top bar under your company name once you are logged into your Motion account.
- Your account number will be listed on your order confirmation email.
- Your account number can also be found in the middle section of your invoice or packing slip.
Yes, you can have multiple users on one account. Please reach out to [email protected] to request that users be added.
If you are unsure whether you already have an account with Motion, please email [email protected] with your company name, address, and phone number. We will then connect you to the correct account or the local servicing branch for assistance.
Follow these steps to change the contact information on your account:
- Log into your account on motion.com
- From the homepage, click the My Account button.
- Click Edit on the box that says Contact Information.
- Change your information and click Save Changes.
Please keep in mine that changing the contact information does not change the user name on the account.
If the user of the account is no longer at the company, please send [email protected] an email requesting they are removed from the account.

Orders
There are several ways to order items using the quick order feature. Quickly order your items by entering them line by line, uploading a spreadsheet or copy and pasting your list into the area provided. You can then add those items directly to your cart or add them to a saved list.

Find tracking information, invoices, and packing slips under the Shipped tab on the Order Management Dashboard. Orders placed on Motion.com or through a Motion sales representative will be found here.

With our easy-to-use payment portal, powered by Billtrust, you can manage your account’s online payments. As a logged-in user, navigate to the Pay Invoices option in your menu to gain access to:
- Simple payment options for statement balances
- A summary of your open and closed invoices, as well as your payment history
- Ability to download payment info directly into standard accounting software

We’ve simplified order management with the Order Dashboard. The dashboard allows you to track orders, convert quotes, repeat past purchases, view and print order and quote details, and obtain proof of delivery (POD), invoices, and packing slips. You can quickly filter by date and submitter.

Once you have placed an order, you cannot make any changes to it. However, please call the servicing branch that is processing your order to speak with a representative for more questions.
We encourage our customers to place orders online, but if you have any questions, we're happy to assist you. Contact Motion at 1-800-526-9328 and follow the prompts to place your order.
Our order process is simple. Once your order has been placed online, an order confirmation page will appear on the screen, displaying your order number and details.
You will also receive the following e-mails:
- Order Received - sent immediately to confirm we have received your order.
- Order Processed - sent to confirm your order has been processed.
- Order Shipped - sent once your order has been shipped with its tracking information.
To find the tracking number for your order, follow the below steps:
- Log in to your Motion account.
- Click "All Orders" in the Orders box on your homepage or click the menu button in the top right-hand corner and click Orders under Order Management.
- Click the "Shipped" tab under orders on your Order Management Dashboard.
- Locate the order you are looking for by either typing the order number into the quick search bar or scrolling through the list.
- Click "Where's My Order?" under the order number to find your tracking number.
Follow the steps below to check the status of your order:
- Log in to your Motion account.
- Click "All Orders" in the Orders box on your homepage, or click the menu button in the top right-hand corner, and click "Orders" under Order Management.
- Under the Orders tab, you can navigate through Open, Shipped, and All Orders to check the status of your order.
Products
When using this configurator, you can build cylinders to customer specifications without needing to contact Emerson directly, resulting in a faster lead time. The configurator will enable you to quickly and accurately create the correct model and provide a quote for that specific model code.

We've made checking out on Motion a simple process. Just follow the prompts to add purchase order (PO) numbers, select your delivery method, update the shipping details, and add payment types. You can save this information for future orders when signed into your account.

Yes! Customers can create custom items when they need products personalized or altered to meet their specifications. The customization tool is also helpful for ordering items not currently listed on the Motion website. Learn how to create a custom product by clicking the link below.

Yes, the Comparing Products feature allows you to select up to 3 products to view and compare. The selected products are entered into a table displaying their features and specifications. Differences are highlighted to allow the selection of the best product to meet your needs. Products can be added directly to the cart from the table.

We've made searching for products as simple as possible. You can search the website for products from within our inventory and from those you’ve previously purchased. Search products through the search bar, using the filter options, or by brands.

Payments, PRicing, Tax
Please contact your servicing branch to arrange net terms. You can find the contact information for your branch on your logged-in home page under the "My Branch" section.
To submit a tax form, please email it to your local branch to have it attached to your Motion account.
Contact your servicing branch to request a removal or reduction of tax from your order. You will need to provide a copy of your tax exemption document, along with your order and account number.
Quotes
Requesting a quote through the Motion.com website is easy! You find the product that you want, add it to your cart, and then hit Request a Quote.

To find your quote number, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Motion account.
- Click on "All Quotes" in the Quotes box on the homepage or click on the menu in the top right corner and click Quotes under Order Management.
- All your quotes will appear under the Quote tab on your Order Management screen.
- You can filter through your quotes by selecting one of the following tabs: Ready for Review, Open, Converted, Expired, or All
- Locate the quote in the list that appears. The quote number will be shown in the top left corner of the quote.
If you do not see your quote on your Order Management screen, please call your servicing branch.
