Energy Absorption

Motion offers a wide variety of energy absorption products and accessories. Energy absorption products have the primary purpose of absorbing energy or vibrations to protect other components in a system or machine. Shock absorbers are a classic example of energy absorption devices; these items are fitted to many vehicles and machines to absorb vibration and movement energy without it affecting the surrounding parts. Many machines produce movement and vibrations, and too much movement could damage some of the key components or cause certain parts to become misaligned or out of position. Energy absorption products help to prevent that from happening; they soak up the energy so that the other components are not disturbed as severely.
