Containment Booms and Berms

Containment booms and berms are used to contain and control the spread of liquid spills, particularly in water bodies, to prevent environmental contamination. A containment boom can be placed in an area of water where oil has spilled, containing the oil in a set zone, and preventing it from getting any further. Containment berms are typically put around large vessels, tanks, or other containers to catch any chemicals or other liquids that could spill out.
