Switchboard Mats

Switchboard mats are insulating mats placed around electrical equipment to protect workers from electrical shocks. They are specifically designed to provide a safe working environment by preventing electrical conduction through the floor. Switchboard matting, and pads are items that are designed to minimize or eliminate the risks of static charges passing out of or between charged items. It is common for certain items, like computer boards and circuit boards, to give off electrostatic charges when handled or when they meet certain surfaces.
