Self-Primer Pumps

Ensure quick and hassle-free priming with Motion's self-priming pumps. These pumps are ideal for applications where continuous priming is required, ensuring uninterrupted fluid transfer. Self-Primer Pumps are a slight misnomer, in that most of these pumps require an initial priming to allow them to maintain prime by have liquid in the priming chamber of the pump once the liquid is pumped. When the pump stops it maintains fluid in the chamber to help the pump to prime when restarted. Self-Primer pumps may be used for clean liquids, but some have impellers designed to handle solids and waste as well. Impeller design generally dictates the application; units with clean liquid impellers generally do not work in solids handling applications in which they would clog.
