Rigging Slings

Rigging slings and wire rope slings are used to connect loads to lifting devices or machines. A chain sling is used to connect a very heavy load to the hook on a crane so that it can be lifted to a great height. Smaller rigging slings can operate in a warehouse or factory to move items around safely. Rigging slings are usually attached to a load to connect it to some other device or machine, like a crane or hoist. There are various rigging slings materials and different types of slings that can be used, all with their own key features and properties. Chain slings, for example, are known for being exceptionally strong and sturdy, while wire rope slings have additional flexibility. There are also various accessories we use in conjunction with rigging slings, like rigging straps and clasps.
