Sandwich Relief Valves

Motion stocks an assortment of sandwich relief valves for hydraulic systems. Choose based on series, mounting type, valve type, and more. Hydraulic relief valves control and limit pressure in a hydraulic circuit and prevent pressure damage to equipment. They redirect hydraulic fluid to a secondary passage, which leads to a hydraulic reservoir tank. Pressure limits may be set by an electronic control. If the limit is exceeded, excess pressurized fluid automatically leaves through the secondary passage because the relief valve offers the least amount of resistance.
