Mounted Points

Mounted points are small, precision grinding tools attached to mandrels, used for detailed grinding and finishing work. They are ideal for reaching tight spaces and intricate areas in metalworking and other applications. Motion carries abrasive mounted points, including vitrified, resinoid, and cotton fiber bond types, available in several grits and shank diameters. Mounted points are shaped grinding wheels fastened to a shank or mandrel and are available in assorted shapes and sizes to deburr and finish surfaces. The type of mounted point is generally denoted with a letter, such as A, B, and W.
