Flap Wheels

Flap wheels are abrasive tools made of overlapping abrasive flaps, used for grinding, blending, and finishing surfaces. They are ideal for contour work and provide a consistent finish on both flat and irregular surfaces. Motion carries an inventory of abrasive flap wheels, including sets, mounted and unmounted, brushes, refills and hardware. Flap wheels are a basic abrasive disk. They're used in metal finishing, similar to flap disks. However, while flap disks are made of one circular coated abrasive, flap wheels are made of multiple pieces, or flaps, of abrasives overlapping together in a circular, wheel formation, with a central core or hub connecting them. Motion carries a range of diverse flap wheels, including flap wheel, flap brushes, and mounted and unmounted flap wheels.
