• Reacts with rust or steel to form a chemically inert film

• A rusted metal surface that has been properly treated with Chemprime and painted will not fail because of rust bleed through
• With Chemprime, paint or primer adhere much better because the zinc strontium phosphate film actually permits a locking effect at the paint interface with the steel rather than ordinary paint adhesion
